A co-founder of independent distributor Transmission Films, Andrew Mackie with business partner Richard Payten has released more than 400 films and generated over $350 million at the Australasian box office. The films he acquired and distributed include Lion, The King’s Speech, Boy, Sweet Country, Ride Like A Girl, Goodnight and Good Luck, Brooklyn, The Railway Man, Super Size Me, Calvary, Shame and Carol. Prior to founding Transmission he was Managing Director of Dendy Films and The Globe Film Co, and has EP'ed such films as Candy, Tracks, Sweet Country and Ride Like A Girl.
